Nonprofit Moves into Subleased Harlem Space

 

The YAI Network, a nonprofit service provider helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has opened an 8,449-square-foot location for one of the nonprofit's pre-employment and community service programs in a second-floor office space the nonprofit subleased from Success Academy Charter Schools at the NBA Player Association's building at 310 Lenox Avenue in Central Harlem, ABS Partners Real Estate announced last week. Read More

 

New Park Equity Program to Help Maintain Harlem's St. Nicholas Park

 
Mayor BIll de Blasio and the City Council announced a $130 million plan last week that will address some issues in parks around the city. The initiative will target 35 parks in low-income neighborhoods across all five boroughs, including St. Nicholas Avenue between 127th and 141st Streets in Harlem. Read More

E&M Associates Buys AIMCO's $67M Harlem Portfolio

E&M Associates, a 40-year-old, family-owned Brooklyn company, has brought a series of Harlem apartment buildings from AIMCO, a Denver-based real estate investment trust, property records indicate. Only eight of the 21 buildings sold were immediately available in property records. Read More
