Welcoming Lunch, this Sunday!
The Welcoming Committee invites all who would like to learn more about Hancock Church to come to a small group lunch Sunday, October 25th following worship in the Kathie Stuart Room.

This is a chance to meet some members and clergy and ask any questions about Hancock - where we've come from and what we hope for the future.  This is a casual, no-pressure opportunity to meet some people and get to know us better. Child care will be available.

Also, we'll be welcoming new members during the November 8th service.  If you are considering that, please stop by the lunch or contact the Welcoming committee.

For more information, please contact Welcoming Committee chair Al Bukys at bukys674@gmail.com or (781) 674-0339.
Live the Promise God has made through Hancock United Church of Christ!

Sunday, Oct. 25
, is the official kick-off of Hancock's 2016 stewardship campaign. We have selected the theme Live the Promise to capture our hopes for this time of new beginnings and celebration of all that we have been given, and the joy we receive when we give back.

Please join us on Oct. 25 at morning and evening worship to learn about this year's campaign, what's new, and why. Look forward to more information over the next several weeks about how you can join generations of Hancock members and friends who have pledged their time, talents, and treasure to sustain the church home that now nurtures us.
Help Needed!
Volunteers Needed to help with our Concert Series!
With our biggest season to date, we need volunteers to help us make our Concert Series a success. The Series not only produces income for our music program, it also is a terrific outreach to our community. If you are interested in any of the following, WE NEED YOU! Take a look:
  • Front of House Coordinator--coordinates volunteers to be ushers, take donations etc for each show
  • Graphic Designer--to design posters and other print and online materials for the series
  • Publicist--to help our office staff get the word out about the Series
  • Ushers--to help at each concert
  • Posterers--to put up posters around Lexington and surrounding towns for each show.
If you can help for one concert or the whole series, please contact Mark Morgan at mark@hancockchurch.org or 781-862-4220 ext 212.
