Handbell Ministry

TONIGHT Pizza and Bell Cleaning Party!
Calling all bell ringers (past, present, and future), their families, and all friends of the HANDBELL MINISTRY! Our annual pizza dinner and bell cleaning party is TONIGHT from 6-8pm. Join us in the Bell Room for a light supper of pizza, salad, and watermelon after which we will disassemble the bells, wash, polish, and then reassemble them. This labor of love helps the bells both sound and look beautiful. All skill levels and ages are welcome. Come for a short time or the entire evening. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to chat with old friends and meet new ones. RSVP to Cheryl Kraley at cheryl@kraley.com if you get a chance. Otherwise, just come! It's lots of fun!

Join a Handbell Group!
Join us at the Activity Fair on September 20th
after morning worship. Ringers there will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Anyone can ring bells just by knowing your right hand from your left, and counting to four! For more information, please email handbells@hancockchurch.org or speak with Marilyn Becker or Cheryl Kraley.

We have a Handbell Group for every level and age! READ MORE HERE.

About the Interfaith Garden
Hancock helps maintain a garden growing produce for the Lexington Food Pantry. From March thru October we work along with members of other faith communities in a backyard garden in Lexington Center. We plant, weed, chat (a lot) and nurture this garden. On Saturdays we harvest and deliver that same morning to the Pantry. Our produce is added to donations from other giving gardens. Here is a thank you from the director of the Food Pantry.

Bike and lunchboxes in the Work Room?
Currently there is a kid's bicycle and lunchboxes in the Workroom. Does anyone have any more information about where they were intended to go? Any information is helpful. If we don't hear from anyone, we'll find somewhere to donate them next week.
Thank you, Jane Park
