Volunteers Urgently Needed for Choral Festival on Sunday!

Hancock Church is pleased to be hosting the 10th Annual Lexington Choral Festival this Sunday at 3:00 pm, but we need to some help to make it happen! We are in need of:

  • People to "shepherd" members of the other choirs around our building. We would need you from 1:15 until the concert at 3:00
  • People to help out for the reception. We need people before the concert to receive and put out the food for the reception, then people to help serve at the reception (re-fill platters, coffee etc. and to clean up afterwards)

We are hosting choirs from 9 other faith communities, plus audience members--help us put our best foot forward and make Hancock shine for the great community event! Please contact Mark Morgan at mark@hancockchurch.org or (781) 862-4220 ext 212

All are welcome and can be assured of a safe, accepting, and risk-free environment in which to share as little or as much of yourself as you are comfortable with. Friday evening dessert, Saturday morning coffee, and lunch provided.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

$2,000 raised for Hancock #BostonWarm

We are so pleased to announce that our #BostonWarm Fundraiser collected over $2,000 for our unhoused brothers and sisters in the Boston area. As these frigid temperatures bring storm after storm, we are ever mindful of how blessed we are to have homes, vehicles, and even jobs that keep us warm. We continue to pray and work for a city in which all might know #BostonWarm. Thank you to all those who contributed, those who cooked, and those who helped distribute on Sunday.

If you'd still like to contribute - there is time! Simply make a check out to "Hancock Church" and write "Boston Warm - No Chili" in the memo line.
