ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thank You for Giving and Growing
in Community for 2015!
The Stewardship Team would like to thank everyone who pledged to support Hancock Church for 2015 with your time, talent and treasure! As we wrap up the Stewardship season in preparation for our annual meeting, we are pleased to report that:
  • We are inching ever closer to 100% participation, with 201 pledges of financial support received as of Jan 26, 2015. This matches the total number of 2014 pledges received by June, 2014. We may yet surpass last year's total if everyone who hasn't yet pledged participates in some way!
  • We had 19 "new pledgers" in 2015, reflecting the many people who have decided to support the church home they have found in Hancock.
  • We saw 14 individuals and families increase their original pledges for 2015, a testament to the strong commitment of our members and friends to the vital ministries of our church.

With deep appreciation and gratitude for all the ways we are the church together,

The 2015 Stewardship Team

Prayer Shawls Are a True Gift

How proud I am to share with hospital staff, the rehab, and friends about Hancock Prayer Shawl ministry. When feeling low, the prayer shawl is the proof that our church cares for us all. Every stitch has been knit with love and prayers, the shawl warms the shoulders,  but mostly the heart.  Paul gifted me with a beautiful one  3 days after surgery. Clark and I send comfort and blessings  to all that knit and share their gifts.

No fines, no fuss, please search your shelves and leave the books by the book cart in Clark Hall on Sunday or on the desk of the Potter Library during the week.
