ANNOUNCEMENTS

Meet Our New Administrative Assistant
Sarah Burns

Sarah has joined Hancock as the administrative assistant this January. She recently obtained her BFA in Illustration from the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and loves making comics, embroidery, and collage. In her spare time, she collects ugly sweaters and curls up with her two pups, Chewie and Pepper. She also likes to dye her hair as often as possible, but is sticking with pink for right now. More than anything, though, Sarah is excited to become a member of the Hancock community.

Next time you're at Hancock, please stop by the work room to say hello!

Desperately Seeking Sopranos!

Our Chancel Choir keeps growing and growing, but we are in sore need of more sopranos to join our swelling ranks! The choir sings literature from the medieval to today, from chant to Bach to gospel, and everything in between! We rehearse on Thursday evenings at 7:30 in the Chapel and sing most Sunday mornings from September-June. Everyone high school age and older is welcome to join. We have members with wildly varying backgrounds--from those who sing each week with several choirs, to those that haven't sung since high school--all are welcome! Singers need not be church members--invite a friend to join you! Please contact Mark Morgan, Director of Music at mark@hancockchurch.org or simply come by on a Thursday night.

Pearson Room Closed
Due to abatement and installation of new carpeting, the Pearson Room is temporarily unavailable for use as a gathering space. The room will be re opened and available for use beginning the weekend of January 17, 2015.
Join the 2nd Annual Lexington MLK
