Office Christmas Schedule
The Administrative Offices will be closed from Dec 24 until Jan 5th.

The last Hancock Weekly of 2014 will be distributed Tuesday, December 23rd, with a deadline of 9am that same day. We will resume our regular Wednesday schedule on January 7th.

The Sunday Bulletins for Dec 28 and Jan 4 will be printed in advance without announcements.
Submission Guidelines

The Hancock Weekly is distributed every Wednesday, around noon. The submission deadline is that same Wednesday at 9am. Please send them to Jane Park, jane@hancockchurch.org.


Submissions for the Sunday Bulletin are due the Wednesday prior, as well. Submissions to the Sunday Bulletin should be sent to office.assistant@hancockchurch.org.

Confirmation Class is offered to Youth in 9th grade, at 5 pm on Sundays.

For youth in grades 7-8, we also offer an Our Whole Lives sexual health class which meets at 7 pm on Sundays.

Please join us in the Sanctuary for Christmas Eve Services with traditional candlelighting, music, and storytelling.

 

5pm Family Service

Lessons and carols with a family Christmas tableau. Carols accompanied by brass and organ. Childcare available in the infant and toddler room.

 

8pm Lessons and Carols

Accompanied by the Chancel Choir, professional soloists, and strings.

 

11pm Candlelight Communion

A contemporary take on carols old and new by Ensemble Noel. Readings by members of Confirmation Class and the Hancock Youth Group

Stewardship Thank You!
As the year draws to a close, the Stewardship Team would like to thank everyone who has pledged time, talent and treasure to support the mission of Hancock Church for 2015. As of Dec. 22, we have made great progress towards the goal of 100% participation and we still have a way to go to meet our anticipated financial needs. Planning for the 2015 budget is already underway and EVERY pledge makes a difference. Really.

Due to abatement and installation of new carpeting, the Pearson Room is temporarily unavailable for use as a gathering space. The room will be re opened and available for use beginning the weekend of January 17, 2015.
