Interfaith Garden UPDATE

The Interfaith Garden is flourishing, and there's more and more to pick and deliver to the Lexington Food Pantry. Come check it out. Better yet, be part of the Hancock team that works alongside others from the community. It's fun, uplifting, and no prior experience is needed!

Hancock Volunteers are scheduled to work at the garden on:

Saturday, July 26, 8-9:30am
Saturday, August 16, 8-9:30am
Saturday, August 23, 8-9:30am

And if these times don't work, there are many other times when extra help is needed. To sign up or get more info, contact Amy Swanon, swanamy5@gmail.com.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Fall Herald Deadline is Tomorrow

If you have any questions, please contact Jane Park, jane@hancockchurch.org. For a full list of communications deadlines, please
Two Trees Removed From Parking Lot

Two trees have been removed from the back for safety reasons. One of the trees was in the Hancock Nursery School playground and the other right outside of it. An arborist came out in response to a large limb breaking off during a storm. His evaluation stated there were structural deficiencies and die back in the upper crowns among other problems in both trees.

His recommendation was that they be removed, and it would be considered negligible if not done without delay given their location. A tree removal company removed them soon after in an afternoon.

Rubble in the Nursery School Area

There's a lot of noyse all around Hancock! Here are some recent pictures of the digging around the Nursery School area.

Directory Update

Recently, we've noticed many outdated phone numbers in the directory. The latest copies will be available this Sunday during Coffee Hour, so you can check to see if your information is correct. If you'd like to update any directory information, please contact the Church Offices: (781) 862-4220 or email office@hancockchurch.org. Thank you!
Hancock Member Courtney Jones is Called to Jamaica Plain, MA!

Courtney was called as the first Associate Pastor of Hope Central Church in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts!

If you'd like to offer Courtney a gift in honor of her celebration, one way you can do so is by helping sponsor her trip to the Holy Land. "Participants will explore sites of historical and religious significance, ...and meet with people representing a wide spectrum of political and social thought." If you'd like to support Courtney in this way,  you can contribute by sending checks payable to "Hancock Church" with "Courtney Jones" in the memo line, or online at: http://www.gofundme.com/9gfy4w?preview=1
