If you would like to distribute food at the pantry, please contact Scott Griffith at isb.scooter@gmail.com or 509-710-5371.

SPOTLIGHT
Only 12 more days...
Memory Book deadline: May 27th

In only 12 days, Dana will be leaving Hancock Church! We would love for everyone to participate in creating a collective memory book that she can take with her to Andover.

If you've ever joined her on a mission trip, women's retreat, Sunday Brunch, First Thursday Discussion Group, Theology on Tap, attended her Learning in the Living Room, Hancock Grills, Starbucks Office Hours, de-stressed with Bono or have heard her sing...! THEN, you must certainly have something to say!

Please take the time to collect your thoughts--it can be anything from a few short sentences, a picture on your iphone, or a pleasant exchange that brightened your day. Mail or email your thoughts to Krystal Neale in the church office: krystal@hancockchurch.org or drop them off in boxes located in the church office and the narthex.
Deadline is May 27th.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Is Your Pledge Up to Date?

As you head into summer, and all the places that the warm weather takes you, please remember that the expenses of your church continue throughout the summer months. Why not make your gifts now, while you're thinking about it? Thanks for your on-going support of the ministries of Hancock.
Thank you for everyone for participating in the
Interfaith Garden Celebration!

We had a lovely Blessing this afternoon.

Many beautiful, spiritual blessings were shared. Jill Perlman of Temple Isaiah shared from one of the stories of their tradition that had angels whispering "Grow, garden, grow". We also had many leave their own heartfelt blessings on a garden stake that will be used to label our beds.

Want to give it a try? For information, visit interfaithgarden.org or contact liaisons Amy Swanson (amy.swanson@rcn.com) or Laurel Cooley (cooley.laurel1@gmail.com)

Pam receives special award

Pam Cochrane, Director of Children's Ministries, received a special award at commencement on Saturday. She was awarded the Massachusetts Bible Society Award to Excellence in the Public Reading of Scripture. It was presented to her by The Reverend Ms. Anne Robertson, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Bible Society. Congratulations Pam!
Beloved Seminarians Graduated!
We celebrated with cake and hats!

Progress and Hold-ups in Construction

Some great work has been finished in the Children's Education Wing! Please take a look at the brand new carpet and painted walls! Progress is being made in construction, but it's been a little slow. The construction crew has run into a deteriorated pier within the walls, and work in the kitchen is being held up by a mechanical subcontractor.
