Neuroscience, Spiritual Experience, & Christian Contemplative Practice
Sundays May 4, 18, 25 at 8:30am, Dining Hall

With Hancock's  Dr. Stan Goldin (Cognitive Rhythms Collaborative, Harvard Medical School). What is modern neuroscience telling us about the evolution of the human brain-are we really just smarter apes? Bestselling atheist authors claim that neuroscience & evolutionary biology have"proven" that the spiritual underpinnings of religious faith are delusions created within the brain. But they're wrong: Cutting edge neuroscience is now exploring questions previously owned by philosophy & theology, and is telling a very different story-join us for some faith-reinforcing, mind-expanding good news & spirited discussion!
