SPOTLIGHT

Official Letters of Dana's Departure
Are Now Online

Rev. Dana Allen Walsh has been called as the next Senior Minister of South Church in Andover, MA. It's a large, vibrant, Open & Affirming, justice-focused congregation. After 303 years of ministry, she will be their first female senior minister!

Dana's last Sunday will be June 1st. We hope the next two months will give us enough time for good-byes. We will all miss her dearly, but no one deserves this opportunity more than she does!

We tried to mail everyone official letters from Dana, Paul, and the moderators, but it appears we were not successful in reaching everyone. All three letters are now available online. If you would like hardcopies mailed to you, please call the Church Office (781) 862-4220 to let us know.

Interim Plans for 2014-15

After Dana Allen Walsh departs for her new call on June 1, we'll be entering an interim period of perhaps 9-15 months as we conduct a national search for our new Minister. What is happening to prepare for this?

We are pleased to announce that Alex Shea Will and Pam Cochrane will become full-time Acting Ministers to serve Hancock during the interim.

Paul Shupe will be taking several periods of sabbatical leave spread out over the year to come.

Please remember that all questions are welcome as we strive to keep the congregation informed. We also seek your wisdom and input during this time. To read the official letters and more details, please go to our website

One God for Everyone
Apr 6, 11:30am

Why has the concept of God caused so much division and strife in our nation and in the world? Thanks,

Tom
