PROBE College Fair: The Probe College Fair is sponsored by Walton High School and Walton's PTSA and will be at the North Point Mall, 1000 North Point Circle, Alpharetta 30022, on Monday, August 29th from 6:00-9:00pm.
Come and speak with college representatives on topics such as:
· Financial Aid · Housing · Programs of Study · Admission Requirements · Scholarships · Campus Life
Want to efficiently use your time at the fair and avoid repetitively completing personal information cards for the colleges? Pre-register through www.gotocollegefairs.com and print a personalized barcode to bring to the fair.

Volunteers Needed for PROBE College Fair: Plans for the PROBE College Fair are coming along nicely, but a few more parent volunteers are needed to help with setting up for the fair on the morning of Monday, August 29th and with checking-in the colleges that afternoon. Please register HERE if you are able to help.
School Directory: The deadline to enter or modify information for the 2016-17 Walton High School Directory is tonight, August 21st. There are some families who have registered on the website, but did not include complete information. We encourage parents to verify that their information is correct by visiting the website at www.waltonptsa.org. If you have not registered and would like to be included, please enter your family's information on our website this evening.

Kroger Plus Cards: Re-Enrollment August 1-31! If you have already registered your Kroger plus card, please go to www.Kroger.com to re-enroll your Kroger Plus Card before August 31st so your purchases will continue to earn cash for Walton. Log into your account, click on your name at the top, scroll down to Community Rewards Button and click re-enroll for Walton High School Foundation, Inc. #95968. If you have not yet registered your Kroger Plus card, please go to Kroger Plus Card Enrollment and follow the registration instructions.

Senior Parents: Join us for a presentation on the College Application Process on Monday, 8/22/16 at 6:30 pm in the Theater. We will discuss basics regarding applying to college, how we use Naviance in that process, basics on HOPE Scholarship and the new Financial Aid timeline, and other pertinent information for seniors. After the general presentation, we will have Q&A time and then an additional presentation for interested families on Highly Selective College Admissions and a Naviance demonstration.

Freshman Picnic: Get ready for fun and food with your friends at the Freshman Picnic. This PTSA sponsored event will be held during WEB on August 31st! Mark your calendar now!

Register to Vote: If you are new to Georgia and need to register to vote, the deadline is October 11. You can register online via the Secretary of State's office, or in person at a Cobb County Library . If you moved over the summer, please update your address at least 30 days before the November general election. Voters can do that online HERE.
