College Board SAT and ACT Score Conversion: The concordance tables are very helpful; however, we recommend students use the converter app released by the College Board. The app can help convert a student's score from New SAT to Old SAT as well as Old to New. The free "SAT Score Converter" app can be downloaded on any iPhone or Android device or you can utilize the SAT Score Converter on the College Board website.
If students are converting New SAT scores using the College Board app, they will need their full score report readily available including Section Scores, Math and Evidence-Based Reading & Writing (200-800 points), and Test Scores, Reading, Writing & Language and Math (10-40 points).
The College Board Score Converter app also gives students the ability to convert their SAT score to an ACT composite score. However, ACT strongly advises not to use the app for this purpose, stating the concordance was derived without collaborating with ACT and there simply isn't enough data to make such a claim at this time.
