Parents:  Once again, we must tap your continued commitment to the mission of our school by asking you to complete the AdvancED/SACS Parent Survey, which is now available on-line: CLICK HERE

The AdvancED/SACS Survey is provided to all parents, students, and faculty as a requirement of the Cobb County School District AdvancED/SACS accreditation process. By collecting this data, the district is able to compile a growing, longitudinal view of stakeholder data over time. Responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to AdvancED's eProve for analysis.

Please note that this is a different survey than you completed in the fall on-line for the Georgia Department of Education Health Survey.  As always, we are appreciative and thankful for your continued participation and support!!

From the Counseling Office
Approximately 105,000 10th grade students in Georgia completed the PSAT in October, 2015. Last month, The College Board reached out to these students who have taken the PSAT/NMSQT to let them know they have an advantage that no student has had before. For the first time ever, they can connect the results of their PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 directly to Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy to create a free personalized practice plan just for them, focusing on improving the specific skills that will help them do their absolute best on the SAT and other high stakes exams. However, only 5,595 Georgia students have linked their accounts to Khan Academy.

Parents, please encourage your students to link their PSAT data to the Khan Academy SAT practice platform. The website is:  https://www.khanacademy.org/sat
