Parents: Short-Term Tutors Needed on Wednesdays: Brumby Elementary School needs adults during the school day to tutor individual students in preparation for the GA Milestones tests. We need parents who love Shakespeare and 9th graders! Would you be available to chaperon ninth grade students on our field trip to the New American Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta to see the play Romeo and Juliet? Walton will be the only school in attendance for this performance as we've purchased every seat in the house. Date: Wednesday, February 24. Meet at Walton at 7:45 a.m. Buses will return to Walton at 1:30 p.m. for a pizza lunch. If you are interested, please contact teacher Sheryl Davis at Sheryl.Davis@cobbk12.org. Junior Parent/Student Meeting: Preparing for the College Application Process Q&A with a College Panel on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 6:30 p.m in Walton's Main Gym. Please note this is a change in location. Panel will include representatives from: Georgia Tech, Furman University, Georgia State University, Georgia College (GCSU), and University of Alabama.
Grade Site: We have a new provider for the Walton grade site. The new URL is www.walton2.net. You may also access the new site through the Walton website. If you have created a favorite for the grade site, you will need to update it. Grades will be available starting Friday, January 22, 2016.
2015-16 Georgia Parent Survey: We would like to encourage all Walton High School parents to complete the 2015-16 Georgia Parent Survey. The survey can be accessed here.

Middle and high schoolers are encouraged to attend Georgia PTA's Student Advocacy Day on Saturday, February 20. See the PTSA Legislative page for more details and registration information. Attendees will network, learn about sex trafficking in our community, hear a presentation about drug and alcohol abuse as well as work to develop tobacco-free school policies.

On March 5th, the Walton Foundation is hosting its first ever Dinner & Auction and we would love to see you there! The event will be held at the Holy Family Parish Center at 3401 Lower Roswell Road from 7pm - 11pm. Come join the boot-tapping fun and support Class Size Reduction at Walton.
