WEB date update: Please note that there has been a change to the calendar. The February WEB dates are February 3 and February 10. February 24 is NOT a WEB date.
SAT and ACT classes: Walton students can prepare for the ACT and the new, redesigned SAT at a special discounted price with Applerouth Master Tutors right here at Walton High School. The New SAT class begins with a mock test on January 9 and runs on Tuesday afternoons from 4p-7p until the first administration of the New SAT on March 5. The ACT class begins with a mock test on January 30 and runs on Tuesday afternoons from 4p-7p until the ACT on April 9. Adult Mindfulness Classes Offered at WHS:The PTSA will sponsor a Mindfulness In Schools .b Foundations class series for parents and teachers next semester. .b Foundations is based on the core mindfulness principles found within Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) courses but was designed with school staff and parents in mind. This course fulfills the prerequisite course and certification required to take the Teacher Training courses through Mindfulness in School and is offered at a substantial discount to the Walton community.
