Last Date to Order Yearbooks Online Will Be April 15:  Please go to Yearbook to place your order so your child will get one delivered to them on April 22, 2015.

Book Fair Volunteers Needed: During the week of April 20th-24th we need a few more volunteers to help
with our summer reading book fair. The volunteer shifts are from 10:15 -12:00 and 12:00-1:30 daily.

Family Chemistry Night: On Tuesday, April 14th, Walton will host a Family Chemistry Night. There will be 12 labs/activities to amaze you and stir your science gray cells! Everyone is welcome, children 10 or younger should be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. Come to Walton anytime between 6-8:30 pm and choose to make a bouncy ball, watch kitchen chemistry in action, boil liquid with your hand, collect iron from cereal, and more! Class Size Survey Results: The ECCC PTA is pleased to release the results of the Parent and Teacher Surveys about Class Sizes (student/teacher ratio), which were conducted at the end of the 2014 school year. The two anonymous, informal surveys reveal the concern expressed by responding parents and teachers about larger class sizes in East Cobb and the corresponding impact on the learning experience. PPO Volunteers: Many thanks for a great year to all of our wonderful PPO volunteers. Congratulations to our "graduating" volunteers; we appreciate your many hours of help over the years. Clubs and Organizations

GRILL DAY THIS WEDNESDAY!   The PLC will be grilling up hamburgers, hotdogs, and veggie burgers to raise money for WHS's Relay for Life team this week during WEB.  Make sure to tell your students to stop by the Commons from 12:35 till 1:45 to enjoy a delicious meal and benefit a great cause at the same time! Checks should be made out to Relay for Life. Thanks for your support!

 

Jog for Jule: The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is hosting the 1st Annual Jog for Jule 5k on April 18th at Walton High School starting at 8:00 am.  The race is being held in honor of Mrs. Julie Furr, a Walton parent diagnosed with breast cancer multiple times and  currently fighting this terrible disease.  To show our love and support for Julie, the students have decided to honor her with this race. All proceeds will be donated to The Breast Cancer Alliance. Please come out to support this great cause and honor Julie's fight.  For more information and to sign up, click here: Jog for Jule.

Raider Football Classic: Join us for the annual Walton Raider Football Classic at Indian Hills Country Club on May 11th. Registration starts at 11:00 am with a shotgun start at noon.
