PTSA Holiday Luncheon for Walton Staff and Faculty:  On December 2nd, the PTSA will be hosting our annual Holiday Luncheon for Walton Staff and Faculty.  Our theme is "Candy Land" and the highlight will be a hot chocolate bar with all sorts of candy sides!  As always, we appreciate your help to make this a great event.  Click here to sign up: Staff Luncheon

PTSA WHS Student Directories:   The 2014-2015 Student Directories were distributed in homerooms the week before Thanksgiving for families who pre-purchased a Directory.  Extra copies are on sale now at the front office for $6, with cash (exact change only, please) or a check made out to WHS PTSA.  

Exam Survival Kits:  Want a fun way to support your child for exam week and help support your school? Send your child a Walton Exam Survival Kit! Each $12 bag comes with delicious snacks, bottled water and a Walton surprise.  A personal note of encouragement can be sent with your order and you can pre-order for spring exam kits too. Order by Dec. 8, 2014 from the WHSF at Survival Kit. Thank you for your support! 

Economics EOC Test:  All students enrolled in Economics this semester will be taking the Georgia Milestones EOC test on Monday, December 8th and Tuesday, December 9th.  Attendance on those days is essential.

Fall Semester Final Exam Schedule:

 Dec. 16 (zero hr.), Dec. 17 (periods 3,4,5), Dec. 18 (Periods 1,2), Dec 19 (periods 6,7)

Please note that exams cannot be given early.  

Students who do not complete finals will have an incomplete and have 10 school days to complete their course work. 

YOU'RE INVITED to join the Walton Chorus at their Holiday Concert

on December 9, 7:30 pm, Lassiter Concert Hall!

Help the Homeless:  Walton Chorus is collecting the following items for Family Promise of Cobb County: new packages of underwear and socks (all sizes) for children, men and women and/or gift cards to Target, Walmart, Kroger. Please bring donations to the Chorus room. Family Promise helps homeless families transition to self-sufficiency while keeping families together.

Walton Tour Choir performs in Boston Jan. 2 -4.  Tell friends and relatives in the area that we will perform at the JFK Presidential Library and Boston University! 

Senior Parking for Spring Semester:  Seniors who would like to receive a parking spot for the spring semester must follow these instructions. The online application process will begin on Mon. Dec. 1.  Please fill out online application before Dec. 8.  After submitting the document you should print the parking application, parking contract, and tardy and truancy form.  These documents should be filled out completely and brought with you when you pick up your decal.  Failure to complete these documents will result in the delay of your parking application being processed. Students can pick up their decals during lunches the week of December 8^th-12^th and December 15^th-17^th.   Decals will not be given out any other time and students who do not pick up their decal during these times will have to wait until January to receive their decals.  Students will need all items listed above as well as their current GEORGIA driver's license, current insurance card and payment of $50 cash or check made out to Walton High School.  Requests for specific spaces or lots cannot be honored. To complete the application and for more information, go to Student Parking.
