We have some potential good news to share with you all. We heard from Superintendent Hinojosa at the Teacher of the Year Luncheon on 2/6 that the additional State funding proposed by Governor Deal will help the Cobb County School District avoid teacher lay-offs, restore our 180 school-day calendar and possibly even leave room for some salary-step increases. While this is welcome news, most of the State's ongoing austerity cuts will continue in the 2015 fiscal year. To learn more, please click here.
