Student Drop Off and Pick Up
|
"From the Cobb County Fire Marshal: The fire lane ordinance does not allow for parents to sit in their vehicles in the fire lane while waiting to pick up a student from "minimal day" or other programs. The ordinance only allows for 30 minutes prior to and after school dismissal, which is 3:30."

The 2013 PSAT will be given at Walton on Wednesday, October 16th. The State pays the registration fee for all 10th grade students to take the PSAT, but 9th and 11th grade students who want to take the test must pay the $14 fee.
The deadline for 9th and 11th graders to register/pay for the PSAT is Wednesday, October 9th at 3:00pm. All 9th graders who do not register/pay for the PSAT will be assigned to a silent study hall, and all 11th grade students who do not register/pay for the PSAT will take the ASVAB exam. 2013-2014 Reflections Competition: "Believe, Dream, Inspire"
Reflections is a competition sponsored by the National PTA. This year the theme of the competition is "Believe, Dream, Inspire". Students can submit entries inspired by the theme in any or all of six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. In addition, students who are eligible may compete as Special Artists in any of the categories. WHS students compete first at the school level, then county, state and nationally. We'd like to have the same or greater success this year! The deadline to submit Reflections entries is Thursday, October 10th.
