A recent issue of The American Gardener Magazine featured a story on
"Designing Outdoor Spaces for Evening Enjoyment", and Outdoor Illumination was asked to provide some hints for lighting outdoor spaces. Here is what we had to say:
  • Use light to define a space
  • Light from above when possible
  • Install lights on limbs rather than on trunks of trees
  • Uplight for dramatic effect and to complement downlighting

The Outdoor Illumination office located in Wilmington, North Carolina, recently had one of their Raleigh projects featured on the cover of the latest Kichler catalog.
