 Rosé in winter??
Talk about "bucking the trend". But why not? These wines are great ALL YEAR! Also see the "winter whites" below, some tremendous wines at amazing prices.
Orin Swift "Skin Deep"
Just released from Orin Swift! From France. Only 150 cases came to Colorado, we got 3, and there is no more to be had. Grenache with some Syrah & Carignan. 30 minutes skin contact in an attempt to preserve the natural freshness. Subtle fruit forwardness with a plush mid-palate and a long lingering finish.
ONLY $16(will sell out quickly)
2013 Von Buhl Spätburgunder
This unlikely wine was our best-selling (and favorite) pink from this year-- a German Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) from the Pfalz. We are able to sell for at a big discount. Lovely red fruit nose of strawberry and watermelon; nice light salmon color, organic, great aromatics, with a touch of minerality and lively acidity; finishes bone dry, really floral and pretty too.
ONLY $15 (reg $20)

2013 L'Ecole Semillon - $17.99
Great Walla Walla Valley winery, and a successful foray into this grape varietal, here a dry wine with a nice body (!). Rich, complex, floral with orange blossom, jasmine and honeyed aromas, with layers of lemon custard, fresh apricot and star fruit expanding on a textured, balanced finish.
2010 Sant'Elena "Klodic" Pinot Grigio - $14.99
It's back! One our our favorite "real" Pinot Grigio's. This has a copper color from some skin contact, from Friuili. Mineral, flowers. A Spectator "daily pick". Regular $19.
2012 Tascante Buonora - $16.99 (reg $23)
We love the salty-mineral-richness of this wine from the volcanic soils of Etna, Sicily, made from 100% Carricante grape. A "must-try" alternative white.
"A salty and rich white with minerals, lemons and a sliced apple character. Wonderful density and freshness all at the same time. A benchmark white from Etna. It shows Burgundian density. Drink now." - 93 points -
