The 2011 was the 3'rd vintage of this prized upper-level bottling from May-Britt and Denis Malbec (winemaker for Ch. Latour).

"Inviting aromas of citrus peel, Asian pear, aromatic herbs and white flowers.  Supple, ripe and complex, with an umami-like texture to the flavors of floral and citrus oils, spices and saline minerality.  Finishes very subtle and very long.  All aromatic esters today:  very interesting wine."

2008 CAPTURE "FLEURON" ROUGE

This Bordeaux blend has some bottle age and is drinking beautifully.  Capture's second label, Fleuron's 2008 Red, is a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot. The fruit for Fleuron's Tin Cross Vineyards Red Wine is grown at an elevation of more than 1,600 feet above the Alexander Valley. Aromas of black currant and juicy black cherries are followed by notes of cedar and pencil shavings. The wine is medium to full bodied, with silky tannins and a long multi-layered finish.   Only 398 cases where made of this great California Red.  A DEAL.
