"What to drink with my turkey?"

City Wine recommends:

First of all, that is no way to refer to your partner or loved one. Our stock answer is, "drink what you like!". Personally, for Thanksgiving why not "pull out the stops" a bit? Splurge, heck it's the holidays and you deserve it! Try a few things!

Traditional turkey and fixins' call for lots of fruit, and some acidity that helps cut through the myriad of flavors.

Off-dry whites from Austria, Germany or Alsace(click here to see article on German wines, some of which are in our offering)

Good dry Rosé. Right now, we have some stellar deals.

For reds you cannot go wrong with Gamay & Pinot Noir, avoiding big tannin high alcohol wines. Consider Pinot from Burgundy, or the more serious Beaujolais Cru's from Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin-a-Vent, Cotes-du-Brouilly.

Sparklers
are always great starters or palate-cleansers, too. Try a Crémant d'Alsace or our Valdobbiadene Prosecco featured below.
