I just spent a week in Portland and the nearby Willamette Valley, which inspired this tasting.  The valley is known for some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the USA, and they are well-represented in our selection.  But first... once and for all, how to pronounce "Willamette"??  A T-shirt I saw sums it up:   "It's Willamette, dammit!"

 I was impressed with Stoller Family Estate, a beautiful & eco-friendly family estate in the Dundee Hills, which represent good value as well.  We will be pouring some of their selections (see below).

Speaking of "inspiration", we are doing a "reprise" with Chapman Stick player Steve Hahn, who is re-locating to Rochester NY soon.  If you missed him and seeing this unique instrument last time, you should make it a point to check it out.  Absolutely amazing, and it will upstage the wine.
