We have been in the midst of "summer doldrums". How to garner some excitement?
How about an opportunity to come taste some older vintage Italian wines with us? This Saturday, we will open 4 wines from the regions of Piedmont and Friuli-- reds from 1996 and 1998, and believe it or not, whites that are more than 5 years old, but still drinking "oh-so-well".
Unless you cellar your own wines, and even if you do, you perhaps have not had a chance to taste anything quite like these. You may be surprised, so come and learn with us!

We have sold Chateau Aney Bordeaux (Kermit Lynch Wine Merchants) for years, always amazed at the quality for the price. Classic Haut-Médoc.
Wow. We have a limited supply of a special bottling of
3 older vintages of this wine. A rare opportunity, and lots of fun, the bottles are
500ml (bigger than a 1/2 bottle), and were bottled for use in Parisian restaurants. This, of course, was a bad idea, since Parisians have NEVER been known to drink only 500ml of wine :) So now they belong to us.
The Kermit Lynch folks in Berkeley say they are drinking fantastically! Don't fret: at this price, you are getting 1.5 regular bottles of an aged beauty for $30.
