2011 OSSIAM MACABEO/SAUVIGNON BLANC (Spain) $12.99 Cool and different blend of these 2 grapes. Sheer Spanish white refreshment here, coming from the Utiel-Requena wine zone to the west of Valencia. Dry, tight, crisp. No wood. Organic.

It's summer. Must have dry Rose'. Great Cinsault at a reasonable price. Beautiful copper color. Cherry and currant fruit, sandstone minerality.

2011 TORTOISE CREEK "LES OLIVIERS" PINOT NOIR (France) $12.99
Our best-selling Pinot Noir, now at an even better price! Less "jammy" and more delicate than its Cali-cousins. With violets, cherry, raspberry (30% new FR oak is used). From Limoux, where ex-Denver-restauranteur Mel Master owns vineyards and makes wine.

Quite different than the "restrained" Grenache from Brunel (France), this big boy is loaded with ripe cassis and lip-smackin' good. Really over-delivers.
