2011 BENVOLIO PINOT GRIGIO (Italy) $10.99 Everyone loves Pinot Grigio. We are excited to present this fine value: it is a Friulian version, and it does not taste like "cheap" Pinot Grigio. Peach, almond, floral notes. One of best we've found at this price ($8.80 case price).

Great quality Chenin Blanc (Steen) from a place that does it well. Alluring, with luscious pineapple, lychee. Rich and complex with a lively palate.

60% Colombard, 40% Ugni Blanc. 100% Delicious.
This winery is "raising the bar" for the Cotes de Gascogne area near Cahors. This wine is crisp apple & pear with acidity and salinity. Low yields and bio-dynamic. Zippy & clean. Dream of summer.

20 07 VINA MAYOR CRIANZA (Spain) $12.99
Tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero, this value has layers of berry & redcurrant fruit, w/ Asian spice, incense and cedar on the nose. It is drinking very well, with a little grip. RP89 pts, and normally sells for $19. "Crianza" = 12 mo's high quality wood. Nice.

2010 RIOFAVARA SPACCAFORNO ELERO (Sicily) $13.99
From the Elero appelation in Ispica on the SE coast... this... is what Nero d'Avola is supposed to be. A cross between a Grand Cru Beaujolais and a St. Joseph Rhone. Quite elegant. Usually sells for $18-20, and it is easily worth that, a "steal" here for you. Organic.
