A RARE TASTING OPPORTUNITY:
BY RSVP ONLY
"1984, 1985, 1986 RUBICON"
Vertical of Iconic Napa
Niebaum-Coppola "Rubicon"
It does not get any better than this. A FREE library tasting of 3 wines from one of the most historic and admired wineries in the heart of Rutherford, Napa Valley.
Francis Ford Coppola bought this estate in 1975 from Gustave Niebaum. It was renamed "Rubicon Estate" in 2006 and then became part of Inglenook in 2011. Inglenook's "flagship" wine is "Rubicon"; it sells for about $250.
These vineyards are right next to Heitz Martha's and BV Latour, and they were spoken of in the same breath as Ch. Montelena, Ridge Monte Bello. Yes, these wines are very well aged... that is part of the fun: to see how classic-era Cabs from the best Napa vineyards age!
