CITY WINE
 NOVEMBER (NOT) MIXED CASE
.

Dear

For 16yrs we have referred to our monthly assortment as "mixed" as if to imply that the selection is random.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

Each month we spend a considerable amount of time tasting and selecting the wines for the the monthly "mix".
Bringing you the only wines that matter.....good ones!

THE TASTING TABLE
This Saturday the tasting table is open! We'll show a selection from the November "not mixed" case.

2011 INDABA SAUVIGNON BLANC, South Africa
(Wine Spectator "top value")

Thank you for considering the mixed case selections from City Wine.  Celebrating seventeen years of quenching Denver's thirst for terrific wines and great service, at little prices.

Our mixed case is still only $119.88 for our picks of 6 reds & 6 whites...  a great bargain, at less than $10/bottle!  You may also mix and match any of these wines and get a 20% case discount or a 10% single-bottle discount (from the "regular" prices listed below)!

10 CEDRUS le BLANC, Gascogne France $12.99
This is a Colombard and Ugni blanc blend from SW France. No wood so it retains a brightness of fruit that is "startling" Finishes with a clear grapefruit tang.

AFFINITY: White fish with dill/Thai dishes with lemongrass influence !

2011 INDABA SAUVIGNON BLANC, S Africa $12.99

Wine Spectator Best Buy

AFFINITY: Sauteed Scallops with English pea puree

NV CA del SARDO FRIZZANTE, Italy   $10.99

Not quite Prosecco, not quite Vinho Verde.  It bubbles seductively, has an aroma of a freshly peeled peach. But mostly it's fun and what's wrong with that?
Did we mention it is a Barolo Grill feauture?

AFFINITY:  In Italy they drink it with football games (soccer).

Hey, beats Budweiser
