A TASTE OF PLACE (TERROIR)aka
ON THE ROAD TO BORDEAUX
Leaving the hotel Cote Bleue on the water (literally eye ball to oyster bed) is bittersweet. Hate to put Provence in our rear-view mirror but what comes next is an in depth tasting of the best values in France, Languedoc.
The reds of this vast region have greater "pleasure per ounce" and our always among our best sellers.
The road from Bouzigues to St Emilion is, by French standards, tedious but the reward at the end of the day is worth it. First there is the story book village of St Emilion itself and then there is the tasting series of Kermit Lynch Bordeaux culminating with my favorite, Ch Aney.
