Restoration Doctor Helps with Flint Bottle Drive
The Restoration Doctor lent a helping hand and their trucks to the St. John Lutheran Church (Fraser) Bottle Drive for Flint last weekend. The church collected 6,032 bottles of water and 61 additional gallons of water. The Restoration Doctor transported it all to the drop-off point in Flint. Nice job!
Macomb Community College Looking for Director
Macomb Community College has extended its search for a new Director of Cultural Affairs and Community Engagement. The Director manages the College's overall cultural and community enrichment activities and initiatives, establishes partnerships and collaborations with major cultural organizations to increase the College's regional and national visibility, directs the state-of-the-art performing arts center, as well as the cultural center and art gallery, and establishes and oversees the implementation of strategies and activities complementing the College's fundraising efforts impacting the annual campaign, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants and in-kind gifts. Habitat for Humanity Macomb has been nominated for the 2016 Crock the Vote run by Motown Soup. You must vote by March 6 at 11:45 pm. Westview Orchards Winery Raises Money for Relay for Life
 "Corks for a Cure - Wine Social for Relay for Life" will be on Friday, March 4, 7-10 pm at Westview Orchards Winery in Washington Twp. Tickets are $32 before March 4 and $40 at the door. The price includes appetizers and five 2-oz pours of wine or hard cider. Some ticket proceeds and a percentage of bottle sales will go to Relay for Life. Must be 21 or older to attend. CARE to Hold Parenting Conference on Saturday CARE of Southeastern Michigan is holding its 21st Annual Parenting Conference on Saturday, March 5, 8 am - 3:30 pm, at Macomb Intermediate School District in Clinton Twp.
