Utica Community Schools is planning its first ever Career Fair for students enrolled in their English as a Second Language courses. A limited number of free employer booths are available for the event, scheduled Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Walsh Community Education Center in Sterling Heights. Big Family of Michigan will host its largest fundraiser of the year on October 16 at the San Marino Club in Troy. The event features dinner and silent and live auctions.
