Macomb Habitat partner families need your help! Three families who were placed in homes experienced severe loss during the recent flood. The first family had just closed on their home and their hot water tank and furnace were destroyed. It was the same call from family number two. Finally, the last family lost their car, all of the furniture in their basement, their furnace, hot water tank, washer and dryer. The Family Flood Fund has been set up with Talmer Bank and is being seeded by a personal gift from Macomb Habitat President and CEO Helen Hicks. She, along with staff and the Board of Directors, invites the community to send whatever amount they can afford to help these three special families who have worked so hard to better their lives and achieve home ownership. If you can help, please send a check to Macomb Habitat, 130 N. Groesbeck, Mount Clemens, MI 48043 or contact the Finance Office at 586.263.1540 X 106.
