SUPER PREPARED conference Sept. 30

will feature crisis planning workshops and live demonstrations by Macomb emergency response teams

 

The flu is spreading and your workforce is impacted... Sensitive information from your company's computers has been compromised.... Your office is damaged by a flood and you'll need to work remotely until it can be cleaned up...What's your plan? 

 

Be the champion for health and safety in your workplace. Learn how to prepare for these and other business crises at "Super Prepared", a free conference and expo designed to help businesses plan for emergencies and take simple steps that could make the difference between business survival or failure.

 

Top area hospitals, Macomb County emergency management teams and the Macomb County Chamber have joined forces to present this event on Tuesday, September 30, at Freedom Hill County Park.

 

Local industry experts will offer workshops and case studies on:

  • Cyber Protection & Resiliency
  • Public Health Hazards: Preparedness and Response
  • Business Continuity Planning
  • and more!

The day will also feature exciting demonstrations by Macomb County emergency response teams. This portion of the agenda is open to the general public as well from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. There is no admission charge or registration required for the general public.

 

New this year is an opportunity for a limited number of school groups to visit and view the preparedness demonstrations from 10 a.m. to noon. Schools groups may register to attend by calling 586.493.7600.
