Matthew Walsh was appointed to the Health Alliance Plan (HAP) senior leadership team as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to becoming HAP COO, Walsh served as the Chief Access Officer for the Henry Ford Medical Group.

The Macomb County Department of Planning and Economic Development has promoted Vicky Rad to deputy director.

Comcast Business recently launched the nation's first wireless gateway with dual-band Wi-Fi signals. The Comcast Business Wireless Gateway allows businesses to assign one private wireless signal for their back-office and a separate public signal for customers or visitors. The new device and Business WiFi service are included with most Comcast Business Internet plans and backed by the company's 24/7 customer support.

 

The first annual Dystance4Dystonia Charity Walk will be held this Sunday, June 22, at the Detroit Zoo. All the money raised will go to the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, a 501c3, in hopes of finding a cure. Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder which affects no fewer than 300,000 individuals in North America.
