WDIV's Guy Gordon will emcee Reinventing Macomb on Friday, February 28 at 8 a.m. at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren.
Reinventing Macomb brings together the local business community with elected officials for conversations that move Macomb forward.
Planned topics for discussion include:
- What to do with the budget surplus
- Road funding
- Part-time Legislature
- Revenue sharing
- City of Detroit
- Regional water authority

State of Macomb Twp. is Feb. 21
Macomb Township Supervisor Janet Dunn's State of the Township address is Friday, Feb. 21, at
Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Macomb Township. Also confirmed to speak are State Reps Ken Goike and Anthony Forlini, County Executive Mark Hackel and County Commissioners Fred Miller and Joe Sabatini.

Sycamore Hills Golf Club was named 2013 Golf Course of the Year by the Michigan Golf Course Owners Association. The award is based on the following criteria:
- Quality of ownership and management
- Quality of golf course and maintenance
- Contributions to the community
- Contributions to the game
Sycamore is the first golf course in Macomb County to win the award.
