Business Fitness Check-up
The Macomb County Chamber is please to make the Business Fitness Check-up available to our members. The Michigan Small Business Development Center and Michigan Association of Chamber Professionals developed this online tool as a way for chamber's to provide assistance to members and small businesses. The questionnaire helps a business to assess its general strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, this tool will help our Chamber to identify the right resources for participating businesses.

State of Macomb Twp. is Feb. 21
Macomb Township Supervisor Janet Dunn's State of the Township address is Friday, Feb. 21, at
Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Macomb Township.
Event sponsors are AT&T, Baker College of Clinton Township, DTE Energy, First State Bank, Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals, HAP and C&G Newspapers.

On March 26, in Lansing, Pure Michigan Business Connect and the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development are partnering to host an invitation-only matchmaking summit to grow the agribusiness economy in Michigan. Attending purchasers will include Meijer, SpartanNash, Kroger, Lipari, US Foods, Whole Foods, Gordon Food Service, Sysco and more. They are looking for producers and processors that can fulfill more than 70 different procurement needs. Registration deadline is February 26. Buyers will select which companies they would like to meet with, and those companies will receive 1:1 private meetings.

On February 13 the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Clinton Twp/ will officially get underway as event volunteers and participants gather at the Macomb Intermediate School District building for a kickoff rally to launch their fundraising efforts for the year. Residents are invited to attend the kickoff celebration to learn more about the upcoming event and how they can become part of an exciting overnight event that will pave the way to a world with less cancer and more birthdays. The event is in the Mackinac Room starting at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and registration, program starts at 7 P.M.

Leadership Macomb is pleased to announce that voting is now open to determine the nominees for its 2014 People's Choice Awards. There are eight categories where the people of Macomb County can nominate their favorite representative. Nominees must currently hold the position for which they are nominated.
