Every year SAFE members have the opportunity to elect directors to their organization's board. Before the election can be held, a nomination process must be completed. The SAFE Governance Committee is seeking nominations for three board positions. The organization is especially in need of board members who have prior knowledge of non-profit operations, experience in fundraising or connections to the aviation industry.

You may nominate yourself or someone else, if that person is agreeable to run/serve as a director. Directors serve a three-year term; new board members will be seated during the organization's Annual Membership Meeting at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014.

Email your nomination to the SAFE Governance Committee at governance@safepilots.org. Use SAFE Nomination as the subject. Attach a resume (two-page maximum) highlighting your knowledge, skills and experience for consideration as a board member candidate. Nominations must be received before 2359 UTC, Friday, February 21th, 2014 to be considered.
