The SAFE slogan is "We're all about our members," and that means YOU!

 

Since our founding in 2009, SAFE has strived to provide you with a variety of perks such as a constantly growing Resource Center, valuable member benefits, the finest CFI insurance program available, mentoring, and ongoing advocacy at the highest levels with FAA, NTSB, and other aviation stakeholders.

 

SAFE also provides opportunities for you to take an active role in your organization's governance: As a member, you have the opportunity to have your voice heard not only by nominating candidates for the Board of Directors, but also by casting your vote for all those who would represent you. Further, every SAFE committee includes members-at-large just like you.

 

But just as SAFE works diligently to provide high value for your hard earned and much appreciated membership dollars, there are many ways that YOU can help SAFE continue to grow as well. Whether it's by actively participating as a committee member, staffing our exhibits at AirVenture or Sun 'N Fun, contributing to our Resource Centers, or nominating or even serving on your Board of Directors, volunteerism is an important additional contribution you can make to your organization.

 

If you are unable to volunteer for any of the above activities, however, there are other ways you can be of tremendous service to SAFE. For example, consider making a tax-exempt donation to SAFE to help us fund SAFE projects and initiatives. Consider giving the gift of SAFE membership to a friend, peer, or co-worker as well. And please promote your membership in SAFE on your websites and in social media!

 

With these and other simple acts, you will be helping SAFE to grow and bring even more benefits to you and to others in our aviation community.
