O God, you declare your almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and pity: Grant us the fullness of your grace, that we, running to obtain your promises, may become partakers of your heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Canon Gibson Attending ARC-USA
Canon Gibson will travel to Berkeley, California for a meeting of the Anglican-Roman Catholic Dialogue. The group will meet on Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1 at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific.



BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
Sunday, October 6
4:00 p.m. in the Garden
Many people bring their pets to the church to be blessed on or around St. Francis' feast day, October 4, because of his love for animals as expressed in his Canticle of Creatures. St. Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment. The service includes a blessing and is held in the garden, where different animals can gather peacefully.


