UNITED THANK OFFERING INGATHERING
Sunday, May 12
UTO promotes offerings as expressions of thanks for daily blessings. The familiar blue boxes are designed to be placed at home, ready to receive coins at moments of gratitude during the day. UTO receives the offerings at twice yearly ingatherings and uses the monies to support grants for projects in Anglican provinces, dioceses, and companion dioceses that address human needs and help alleviate poverty. If you miss the ingathering, we will give you an opportunity to be thankful again on UTO Sunday in the fall.
Christ Church Cathedral is dedicated to supporting the mission of UTO. We encourage you to pick up a blue box on the ministry table. As you and your family give thanks for the many blessings received each day, add a coin to the box.
Join us Sunday as we collect donations to UTO. Blue UTO boxes may be placed at the wooden cross on your way to the altar for Communion. You may also write a check to Christ Church Cathedral designated UTO and place in the alms basin or mail to the Cathedral Office. UTO is a project of the Episcopal Church Women.
