Cathedral Notes December 23, 2012 GREENING OF THE CATHEDRAL THIS SUNDAY following the service. We need help placing poinsettias on the steps and arranging greenery around them. CHRISTMAS EVE FESTIVAL EUCHARIST Monday, December 24 4:30 p.m.-MUSIC 5:00 p.m.-HOLY EUCHARIST, RITE II Jim Lichtenberger, violinist; Paul Hanceri, cellist; Christ Church Cathedral Choir; Christ Church Cathedral Handbell Choir CATHEDRAL OFFICE CLOSED The Cathedral Office will close at noon Christmas Eve and reopen on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. MUSIC MINISTRY Adult Choir will not have rehearsal on January 2. They will resume Wednesday, January 9 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Handbell Choir rehearsals begin Wednesday, January 9 from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Open to all high school age and older. Children's Choir resumes Wednesday, January 16 from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Young people ages 3 and up are invited to attend and enjoy this fun group. WEDNESDAY NOON HOLY EUCHARIST Will not be celebrated on December 26 or January 2. Resumes Wednesday, January 9. CHRISTMAS OUTREACH Jan Thornton, wife of the retired Bishop of Idaho wrote to say, "The lovely scarves arrived at the Lillian Vallely school, and the staff was delighted to receive them. Staff members are matching up the children with scarves and wrapping the presents. . . to be opened at the party. Twenty happy youth received their Christmas gifts and gift cards. Thanks to everyone who donated to our Angel Tree. CATHEDRAL PRAYERS
