THE COLLECT
Almighty God, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light, now in the time of this mortal life in which your Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge both the living and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

ANGEL TREE Deadline: Monday, December 17 This will be our fourth year to partner with the Family Intervention Team (FIT) Specialists of the Mobile Police Department to provide gifts at Christmas to 20 children ranging in age from 5 to 18 years. Our task is to provide one special Christmas gift for each child and money to allow the officers to take the children shopping. A Christmas tree decorated with gift and or cash donation requests is in the Chapter House now. Our goal is to have 100% of our cards taken and filled. This would mean that 20 children would each receive both a Christmas gift and a Bel Air Mall Gift Certificate.
The cash goal is $2000. To reach our goal we need everyone's help. All gifts and donations are due by Monday, December 17. If you have any questions, please contact Candace in the Cathedral office.
