ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD NEWS

The new City Information Reports have just been released. They show projected growth in population, income and other trends for each of the nine incorporated cities and Sonoma County over the next several years. The reports include economic information and forecasts specific to each city and the county. Areas covered by the report include employment, demographics, residential and commercial real estate, consumer spending, and education. They are meant to give a good profile of each community. These are useful for businesses looking to move here, relocate, expand, and the like, and were developed in partnership with all the cities and chambers in Sonoma County.

You can see all of the reports here.

Building Repair Fundraising:  So far we have around $400 and our goal is $20,000 to fix our roof and upkeep of the building.  If you would like to donate, you can deposit any amount at any Exchange Bank in Sonoma County to the Cotati Lions Club Building Repair Fund, or click on the link below.

Donations:
We are always looking for donations of eyeglasses (all types), hearing aids, printer cartridges and unused cell phones!  If you have a donation you'd like to make, you can drop it off at our Cotati location (86 La Plaza) in the blue and gold mailbox out front.

We are also supporting the Shriners in collecting pull-tabs/pop-tops from cans.  Proceeds go to support the non-profit Shriners hospital where they are used to purchase non-medical items such as educational computer programs, arts and crafts, and books for children with severe medical issues.  If you would like to collect and donate your pull-tabs, you can always drop them off at our clubhouse in the blue and gold mailbox and we send them to the Shriners.  Anything helps!
