PUBLIC HEARING ON FORMULA-BASED FAST FOOD
Wed. 8/14, 7 pm
Cotati City Hall, 201 W. Sierra Ave., Cotati
The Cotati City Council will conduct a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Formula-Based Fast Food Restaurant ordinance.   The recommended changes would eliminate regulations pertaining to:
1.  caps and equitable distribution (current capped at 8)
2.  limitations on multiple same franchises within the City (currently not allowed)
3.  spacing requirements
The ordinance amendments would apply city-wide with the exception of the Public Facilities, Commercial and General Industrial zones and certain portions of downtown where outlets are already prohibited.

Please attend this meeting and let your opinions be heard. You can also send comments to Assistant City Manager Micah Hinkle at mhinkle@ci.cotati.ca.us or call 707-665-3634.

For more information about the proposed amendment, go to http://www.ci.cotati.ca.us/app/assets/managed/meetings/PLANNING07152013packet.pdf
