I was sitting in a favorite restaurant in Cannon Beach, musing about developing a yoga festival; wondering who would teach and how would I reach them? And in walks Julie Gudmestad! Really! Julie said, yes and now we are having the Third Cannon Beach Yoga Festival! I'm thrilled to say that Julie has taught each year and continues to provide great input. The Yoga Lounge was her idea!
Julie has been active in Portland, Oregon, as a yoga teacher and licensed physical therapist for over 30 years. She has integrated Western medical knowledge and yoga training into a unique teaching style, and has taught many workshops in the U.S., Canada and Europe. She is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Additionally, she wrote the Yoga Journal column, "Anatomy of a Yogi" for seven years. Julie's Website is gudmestadyoga.com.
Julie will be teaching two Saturday workshops at the festival this year. The morning workshop will be: Upper Body Strengthening for Wimps. And the afternoon workshop will be Backbends: Preparation and Practice.
This is a great opportunity to study with a wonderful master teacher in a small class setting. With space for only 40 mats, you'll feel like you're in Julie's studio instead of a huge yoga conference!
Full Festival Pass, $350/ $325 early bird by 2/1/13. Includes 10 hours of Main Track Workshops with world-class senior teachers, Morning Meditation both Saturday and Sunday, Welcome Gathering and Yoga Marketplace, Keynote Address with Aadil Palkhivala, Kirtan and Community Dance Party with Shantala, and the Closing Ceremony.
With a Full Festival Pass, choose 4 Main Track Workshops from the 16 that are offered. Choose to study with one teacher for the entire weekend, or mix and match. These workshops qualify for Continuing Education Credit with Yoga Alliance.
We also have Optional Workshops, lectures and events. You may add these to your Full Festival Pass or register for these with a Partial Festival Pass.

Special Promotion for Yoga Teachers!
Tell Your Students & Take some Credit! Yoga teachers and studio owners who are registered for the Full Festival Pass are eligible for a $20 rebate for every attendee who, when registering for a Full Festival Pass, identifies that teacher as the way they heard about the festival.
It's easy to do! At the time of registration, a yoga teacher must identify themselves as a teacher or studio owner (there's a question on the form). And when students register for a Full Festival Pass, they identify you as the source for how they heard about the festival (there's a question and a name field for that on the form, too).
Rebates will be tallied and distributed at the festival.
