Greetings!
Please join us for the the Third Cannon Beach Yoga Festival. We have a fantastic faculty of Master Teachers offering a variety of workshops and lectures in yoga, Ayurveda, drawing, dance, and music. And if you are a yoga teacher, we have a Teacher Appreciation Rebate (see below).
Cannon Beach Yoga Festival Full Festival Pass, $350/ $295 early bird by 1/1/13. Includes 10 hours of Main Track workshops with world-class senior teachers, Morning Meditation both Saturday and Sunday, Welcome Gathering and Yoga Marketplace, Kirtan and Community Dance Party with Shantala, and the Closing Ceremony.
Our Main Track Master Teachers are: Aadil Palkhivala, Annie Carpenter, Julie Gudmestad, Sarahjoy Marsh, and Uma Kleppinger.
With a Full Festival Pass, choose 4 workshops from the 16 that are offered. Choose to study with one teacher for the entire weekend, or mix and match. Most of the yoga workshops qualify for Continuing Education Credit with Yoga Alliance.
We also have optional workshops, lectures and events. You may add these to your Full Festival Pass or register for these with a Partial Festival Pass. Optional Workshops and Events will be lead by Aadil Palkhivala, Ann Wagoner, Dana Dupont, David Kinhan, Heather & Benjy Wertheimer, Jamie Hopkins & Jessica McClintic, Kendall Hassemer & Uma Kleppinger, Kelly Ponzi, and Sarahjoy Marsh & Jay Gregory.
The Main Track Workshops are only available with the Full Festival Pass until February 15, 2013. Then we will open any available sessions for individual registration with a Partial Festival Pass. The price for each workshop will be $40/hour. A 2 hour class will be $80 and a 3 hour class will be $120.
But don't wait, one of the amazing things about this festival is the small venue settings that provide a personal, intimate studio-size experience between the teachers and students, and among the students.

I invite you to join me for a celebration of the arts and the art of yoga on the breathtaking Oregon Coast, in a town that wrote the book on hospitality - Cannon Beach.

Friday, 3/1, 7:00-8:30pm
Optional Workshop,$30
Join Uma Kleppinger and Kendall Hassemer to celebrate the confluence of teachers, traditions, and practices coming together in the spirit of tapas - the alchemistry of transformation through yoga.
Following a brief guided meditation to set our intentions for the weekend, we will move through a dynamic, invigorating vinyasa practice to dissolve the barriers that stand in the way of all the goodness we wish to achieve and receive in our lives.
The class will be accompanied by a lively soundtrack, then ease into a quiet, contemplative closing sequence of yin yoga, infused with the timeless teachings of Rumi, Hafiz, Lao Tzu and other Eastern sages and wisdom teachers. The practice will conclude with a candle lighting ceremony to light the darkness and carry us into the weekend of light, laughter and the love of yoga!

Cannon Beach Yoga Festival is thrilled to host Heather and Benjy Wertheimer of Shantala and Friends for this evening of ancient call and response chanting, kirtan. And then kick up our heels in a rousing percussive Community Dance Party!
Kirtan (sacred chanting) has its roots in the sacred music of ancient India. It is growing rapidly in popularity in the West along with the rise of yoga in American culture. Chanting events involve active audience participation and are open to people of all religious backgrounds. The music carries the audience through a journey of ethereal beauty, ecstatic percussion, and singing with the devotion of the heart. It is a celebration of life, love, and the beauty of the human spirit.

Special Promotion for Yoga Teachers!
Tell Your Students & Take some Credit! Yoga teachers and studio owners who are registered for the Full Festival Pass are eligible for a $20 rebate for every attendee who, when registering for a Full Festival Pass, identifies that teacher as the way they heard about the festival.
It's easy to do! At the time of registration, a yoga teacher must identify themselves as a teacher or studio owner (there's a question on the form). And when students register for a Full Festival Pass, they identify the teacher as the source for how they heard about the festival (there's a question and a name field for that on the form, too).
Rebates will be tallied and distributed at the festival.
