Great Bring A Guest Program Scheduled For Dec. 18

President-Elect Mike Elliott wants you to know about a very special seasonal musical program that will be presented on December 18th.

According to Mike his wife Barbara, her friend Anita Errickson, and her piano student Levi Bennett are going to lead us in singing Christmas songs.

Bring a potential member guest to enjoy the songs of the season at Exchange on that date.

Christmas Party Huge Success
If you missed this years Exchange Christmas Party at the Palladium you missed a huge success.

If you were there, be sure and click on the video in the previous article and see your handsome party portraits done during the social period by Gail Johnson.

It was a big night for Toys For Tots with over 150 new unwrapped toys donated by Exchangites  for this year's campaign.  Boxes were overflowing in the lobby as people arrived.

It was a big night for the Coosa Valley Fair and the Exchange Club as well.

Exchangite Bill Irmscher was honored for his year as Coosa Valley Fair President by incoming CVF President John Garner.  Irmscher thanked all the Exchangites who worked the fair for helping make this "one of the best fairs ever," despite adverse weather conditions.  Irmscher said while the fair had a shaky financial start, the Friday crowd was the biggest in fair history and helped bring up the totals to make 2015 almost as good as last year.

It was all smiles for Exchange too as the Coosa Valley Fair presented a check to J.P. Cooper, President of Exchange, with a check for $35,000 from the proceeds of the fair to help finance the Exchange Club Family Resource Center and the other community projects of Exchange in Rome and Floyd County.

With all of the business out of the way it was time for dancing to Flashback.

Exchange "Elves" Play Santa
For Seniors

Once again this year the Exchange Club of Rome is joining forces with the Floyd County Sheriff's Department to make Christmas just a little more merrier for a group of senior citizens who have no close families to make this holiday special.

Chaired by Wanda Whitten, the Exchange "Elves" have adopted 13 different seniors. Supplied with a short "wish list" from each person, gifts will be assembled and distributed by the Sheriff's Department with the assistance of the Rome/Floyd Parks and Rec Department. Another great service project by our club.
Proudly we hail.....

We need nominations for "Proudly We Hail" American Flag displays at residences, businesses, schools, and government sites.  Nomination forms will be available at the meeting Friday.

Save Those Bottle Tops and Carton Ends...

At a previous meeting, Exchangites Barbara Carter and Meredith Brown outlined plans for this years scrapbook.  The duo explained they are also asking Exchangites to save bottle tops from Coke products and the end package panels from Coke can products.  There will be a basket in the lobby of the Palladium to deposit them and they will be exchanged for on-line services in producing the scrapbook.
Exchange Fellowship
This week please remember these Exchangites in your thoughts and prayers:

We are sorry to report that Exchangite Ben Harrison's mother passed away today in Huntsville, Alabama.  Ben was helping sort for Toys For Tots when he received a call, so we have no further details.  Please keep Ben and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

If you have fellowship information, please let us know.  The email addresses are:

Meal Policy Of The Exchange Club Of Rome
Members are encouraged to bring prospective member guests to all regular meetings.  The club is most happy to pay for the meals of prospects the first three times they visit, more then that you are required to pay for your guest's meal unless they have submitted an application for membership, in which case the meals will remain at no charge  If you bring a non-prospect guest, someone to just join you for lunch, or if you take out a lunch for anyone that is not a member, you are required to pay for your guest's or takeout meal.  The cost of the meal is $10 per meal and must be paid to the Treasurer or other officer at the time of the meeting.  Money can also be placed in the Dues Box in the lobby.
