Every year the chapter submits annual reports to ISACA headquarters.  This forces the chapter board members to reflect on the activities and accomplishments from the past year (ours runs from July through June).  While most members don't see the annual reports, the lesson learned is that an annual assessment is beneficial to assess the stregths and weaknesses of the organization.  While striving to continue providing relevant and ample training opportunities, a couple areas that we hope to improve upon are; promoting the value of ISACA to our local business community, and to become more involved with the regulatory community.

The annual end-of-year dues promotion begins on 1 August and is an effort to encourage new membership and to demonstrate the value of ISACA benefits to December exam registrants.  Individuals joining ISACA between 1 August and 31 December 2013 pay the associate and chapter dues for the 2014 term for membership through 31 December 2014.  The promotion provides individuals with up to 17 months of membership for the price of 12 months.  This is open to anyone, not just exam registrants, so make your friends and co-workers aware of this great opportunity.
